For the last three years I've been coming to the New River museum with my wife for the annual Day of the Dead parade and art show. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable about the history and beauty of Fort Lauderdale, the museum itself features art studios in the upper floors and art exhibits on the main gallery. A worth visit if you take the free tour. An spectacularly beautiful landscape with the river as background. What a gem!
This museum is a must see if you are visiting or live in Florida! We went on the guided tour to be able to see all three buildings. The history and culture was so interesting. We learned so much. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend checking it out!
A place where history lives close to modernity. Be sure to bring the children here for an excursion. Professional guide will tell an interesting story about founding of the city.
