3 Best Public Parks in Fort Lauderdale, FL

This is a very good location for fun in the park. Water views, restrooms, activities and a stage for live performers. There is ample covered parking in the garage across the street and a children's museum also across the street. There was a good time had by all with lots of space for vendors, outdoor seating available or bring your own for the lawn.

Always looking out for their events. They are great at taking any opportunity to celebrate anything really. Feels inclusive and is a chance to support the community and to come together. Please never stop. Was there last for Day of the Dead, it was fantastic, ran too long for our little one, but we enjoyed it and the cultural exposure simply fantastic, and the water taxi free ride; was everything!.

A very nice park with some of the best local jazz and vendors! Clean and very well maintained. Located close to the marina with beautiful views! Plenty of space for picnics and lawn chairs.

This small, well-maintained and incredibly serene park is a hidden treasure right behind bustling Las Olas Boulevard. If you love cool ocean breezes, plenty of shade, peace and quiet, beautiful tropical flora, and a place to read, picnic, rest, or view every manner of sea vessel navigating the deep blue sea, then this is your place! You will find a few spaces in front where you can park for free for three hours. At the entrance is a little box for book exchanges, and the lovely brick paths lead you to benches strategically placed around the park for water viewing. Someone brought a hammock the other day and was sleeping in the shade. Nurses were enjoying a quiet lunch together, while another family gathered for a picnic with their young children. I simply love it here. Kudos to the City of Fort Lauderdale workers who were there tidying up, always with smiles and pleasant greetings for everyone. Bring your camera as the sights along the water are stunning!

Colee Hammock Park is a hidden gem in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It is a beautiful small park with a lot of shades from banyan and other big trees. There is always a breeze coming from the canal. I enjoy being in this park, doing some people or boat watching on the canal, very relaxing, quiet and refreshing. Some mornings people come here for yoga practice or other exercises.

This waterfront park is such a charming little gem with a touch of history. There’s an incredible old tree right across from the plaque that’s definitely worth checking out. With benches to relax, spots to park your bike or car, it’s the perfect place to unwind any time of day.
