"Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is a non-profit organization that aims to preserve, conserve, enhance, and promote Birch State Park through community support. The trail leads to the Terramar Visitor Center and displays the natural and cultural history of the region. The trail features a diverse array of outdoor adventures for all kinds of people. There are ideal open bench spaces for families and gatherings, kayaking, and endless hiking paths. Visitors can enjoy roller skating, biking, picnics, and watching wildlife. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park also conducts events such as "Art in the Park" and Sunset and Full Moon Kayak tours. Additionally, the park includes pavilions with water and electricity that are available for rent.

Stopped by Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and loved the nice looped trail! The 2-mile paved path is perfect for a quick walk or bike ride, winding through shady trees and along the water. Easy to navigate and super relaxinggreat spot for a chill outdoor break!.

Perfect state park for a days outing with fort lauderdale beach access, with picnic tables and restrooms. There is a restaurant selling ice cream too. Its a convenient location to park for beach visits as well.

This is a really nice oasis, a little gem hidden in the middle of the city. Trials, vegetation, water and peace. Even parking. I found this place by chance and immediately it is becoming one of my favorite ones. Once here I felt transported to travel in contact with our mother nature. Area is well taken care of and people are very friendly. And again, I breathe a warm peaceful feeling that cheers and calms the spirit at the same time. Totally recommended.

This place is like a hidden gem. Nestled within a beautiful neighborhood. The atmosphere is perfect for being one with nature in serene and well kept environment with remarkable views and plenty of seating/dining facilities for a peaceful lunch break or a mediation refuge. I will be back when I need a break from the everyday noise.

I personally loved this preserve, parking available, small and with unique fauna and Flora and a walkway along the waterways. Anyone visiting ft Lauderdale in need of an interesting few hours, this is well worth it. There is seating available and a thatched area with a "table" area that could be used for a picnic. Highly recommend.
