You can climb the 74-foot lighthouse tower for a 360-degree views of Lake Park, Lake Michigan and downtown Milwaukee and it’s amazing, I believe the lighthouse was built in 1855, and there is a museum that sits inside with decent and cool exhibits. Would bring the kids along and explore some fun history and see the beautiful sightseeing that the surrounding areas have to offer you and your family.
An excellent experience if you're at all interested in Milwaukee's maritime history. The signage includes the history of the lighthouse as well as some Lake Michigan shipwrecks. The view from the top of the lighthouse is wonderful.
We went here for part of our family vacation and everyone loved it! We were able to go to the top! We also got our lighthouse passports stamped as well. Great experience. There is also trails in the back of it to go for a walk.
