“Grant Park Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course that still has the historic 1892 farmhouse as its clubhouse. The course is comparatively short by today’s standards (5,213 yards); however, it does have several challenging Par 4s and Par 3s. The golf course offers rental facilities. The clubhouse is ideal for hosting private events, wedding receptions, or ceremonies. Golfers can receive reduced greens fees and loyalty points when they join the Milwaukee County Golf Players Discount Program. The course also offers promotions for every dollar spent on greens fees, cart rentals, and golf shop merchandise. The leagues at Grant Park are organized by several local golfing clubs.”

DRETZKA PARK GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

For a city course, this is probably one of the better ones. Staff were really nice when we held a tournament here. By far the fastest greens during tournament time & played it fair for the field. The layout was manageable with some demanding holes but also generous ones. Would definitely come back to play the course when in the Milwaukee area.

Nice course. The grounds crew has done a good job of paving the cart paths, making new tee boxes and repairing grass from the paving. Also, the gentlemen working the pro shop have been friendly.

She was in really good shape last night. Comparable to brown deer! The greens were rolling really well, and the fairways were trimmed up nicely. Only thing I feel like there’s room for improvement are the bunkers, but that’s every course. Great place to golf.

Great course with fast greens. Decent sized pro shop, nice clubhouse, amd great staff. Decent driving range tucked aside right where it should be. Nice course layout that was cut well. Many elevated greens and multiple holes with a stream crossing it. Sand traps were pretty big and well taken care of. Fairways and rough cut well. Mature trees all over. Greens very hard and fast. Rates were paying for a nice course.....sign up for the milwaukee discount card and the rates are awesome for this course. Totally would play the course again.

Very nice county course. Well taken care of and the greens were in great shape - and VERY FAST. Not too much trouble to get into - very little water and when you were in the sand it wasn't too difficult to get out. Everything about the course was very clean. Nice practice area too - driving, putting and chipping. Would love to come back!

Raised funds for inner city kids in golf outing sponsored by MPS Foundation. Andrew Nelson promoted the event, and Willie Jude Jr. ran the tournament.

GRANT PARK GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

We booked a tee time the night before. Showed up 15-20 minutes prior to tee time. Quick check in and pleasant employees. Waited our turn and was joined by two walkers. It was not a fast moving course on Sunday but it was not waiting either as there were a lot of groups of 4 ahead of us. Course was in good shape. Did not see the lake from the front nine.

Very nice golf course, well maintained with wide fare ways. This course is wide but excellent for beginners or professionals. I enjoyed a great day on the course. Did the night golf too which was amazing. 100% would go back. I walked the course but you can rent a golf cart. Prices are fair.

Great course for the money - I was impressed by how well kept this course was, as it is owned by the city. Nice staff, and the pace of play was pretty decent. It is a short course with some driveable greens if you can drive the ball 240+. If I'm ever back in town, I'll definitely give this one another visit.
