“Wildwood Manor House features over 50 rooms and 16 fireplaces, showcasing the architectural style of the 18th century. The House is an iconic symbol of the area's history. The Wildwood Manor House is open for free tours and hosts a range of cultural and historical activities, including monthly teas organized by dedicated volunteers. Today, the Wildwood Manor House is a unique venue and part of the Metroparks district headquarters. Wildwood's current existence can be attributed to a public park preservation movement initiated by citizens during the mid-1970s. Visitors can stroll along a lighted path from the manor to the pier and through the decorated Shipman garden.”
