"Promenade Park is a grassy waterside park that hosts various concerts, outdoor events, and festivals throughout the year. The park's surrounding buildings were renovated by regional healthcare giant ProMedica as they moved their headquarters into the steam plant building. Promenade Park is an attractive place for kids, including large sports fields and many picnic areas. Additionally, the park provides a pavilion that hosts community concerts and events. The park has separate areas for play and stone benches for people to relax and enjoy nature.

2026 Update: Promenade Park is built on a historically significant site, incorporating parts of old industrial structures like the Toledo Edison steam plant and Fort Industry Square. The park area was redeveloped and revitalized by ProMedica, transforming it from an underused space into an active public park. The park was designed as a modern urban park with landscaped lawns, seating areas, and pedestrian-friendly walkways. The ark includes public art installations, fountains, and an amphitheater-style event space and is built to improve connectivity between downtown Toledo and the riverfront area."
