PROMENADE PARK REVIEWS
This is an excellent, clean park that has a great view of the Maumee River. There is also a cool art piece of a series of rings that you can walk through. The grass is well maintained and is great for picnics on a nice day or even to just toss around a frisbee or football. There is a pier here but you cannot access it unless you own a boat or are a guest of a boat owner. Definitely a great, peaceful park, with a nice view!
Promenade Park with all the BEAUTIFUL Artwork was perfect for my daughter's senior pictures!!! Absolutely recommend for photo shoots. Photos TBA when I get them back
Great place to take pictures and chill. Love going on the weekends when it's quiet and you can enjoy looking at the vast amount of artwork that's displayed across downtown. Your camera will love the scenery!

WALBRIDGE PARK INC. REVIEWS
Walbridge park is a wonderfully maintained park. It's got a great walking path that's a little over 1 mile long. There's plenty of benches with ample shade to rest or to just appreciate the river view. There's a large playground for the young kids, a huge outdoor shelter for large gatherings, and a building available to book for private functions. Family picnics are a common activity. I personally walk my dog as it's a very dog friendly park. There are free concerts in the summer. Meet at the gazebo! Enjoy walbridge park!
Nice park with an interesting history. Plenty of parking, picnic tables, large outdoor shelter with fireplace, playgrounds, gazebo, hall, paved trails, many park benches with scenic views of the river. Not overly large (about a mile loop on the outside-edge paved trail). Nice large river overlook deck at the far SW end at the fountain. Can be very busy on weekends in the summer.
Beautiful riverfront stretch with benches for taking in the view. Large play area for the kids, shelter house with grills, and a one mile loop path circling the whole thing. Check out the gateway sculpture down by the zoo lot, it's a treat.

MIDDLEGROUNDS METRO PARK REVIEWS
Very nice some litter but it’s early in the warm season can tell they care and the signs are nice to tell you what’s what and why had a gnome time with the dogs at the large dog side, plenty of room and nice husky’s to play with my girls. River walk was nice waters low and murky but I’m sure clears as the weather gets better.
Nice for short walks along the riverfront, there's a fairly large charcoal grill next to sheltered picnic tables, and plenty of spots for fishing. There's also 2 separated dog parks, one for big dogs, another for small. Toledo Metroparks really did a good job putting this park together.
This was a great place to stop and stretch our legs on the way to Michigan. We downloaded an audio tour and loved learning all about the area. We felt safe for the duration of our visit. The restrooms were clean, which is a huge bonus!
