3 Best Places To See in Toledo, OH

Very large with a wide array of exhibits. Great to visit if you are a fan of art or are just looking for something to do. Very welcoming atmosphere. Interactive exhibits in selective areas. Do not get too close to the art or an automated message will tell you to step away. I enjoyed the insects and amphibian area. This is probably not a great place for younger children unless they are extremely well behaved and under control. Gift shop is full of high class art from local artists with high class pricetags. This is an excellent free activity for adults of all ages. Free shaded parking!!! There are outdoor art pieces as well. Be sure to go across the street to the Glass Pavillion to appreciate beautiful glass work for free as well.

One of the best museum collections for its moderate size in the U.S. Representing cultural art through thousands of years; from Mesopotamia, Minoan, and Greece, to ancient Japanese, Chinese, and Indian art. From the Italian Renaissance to the Contemporary Dadaists and surrealist imaginations of the modern era; a bit of everything can be found at the TMA. Allow two days to see the whole museum and take in one of their many programs, classes, lectures, and presentations which can be found on their website. Don't miss the museum cafe! Surprisingly rated as one of the best, refreshing dining experiences in the city of Toledo.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I've only been there once and already can't wait to go back! All different types and sizes and colors and feelings and just everything! I walked into the gigantic red room with the piano and my jaw hit the ground! I was literally breath taken!! If you've never gone, I highly highly suggest it! Ohh, and I was told they rotate the art with other museums so there's fresh art every few months! I can't wait to go back.

Had a BLAST!!! There's a theater ride thing hidden in the back where you need to buy a $2 token from this 1990's kiosk thing that only takes Paper money, and it only takes $1 bills and you can't tap to pay or buy the tokens from the people who work there, (except at the front desk.) That was very retro and just kind of strange, but the RIDE WAS SO SICK!!! It was SO MUCH FUN!!! I'm going to bring like twenty bucks in one-dollar paper notes next time just so I can ride that thing over and over! IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH THE TWO BUCKS *and* everything else! DON'T MISS IT.

Stopped in today with the family to check this place out. We were all super impressed! A huge place with tons of areas for play and to explore, they also have several workshop areas for kids and their parents to create all kinds of projects. Plan for a full day as there's a ton to do, you'll more then likely need to visit several times to get the full effect and to do all the activities. I highly recommend.

Our girl scout troop came and had a wonderful time. Some of the kids pushed their limits on the wire bike. Our Littles that came along enjoyed the water room the most. The t-rex movie was great our boys loved the movie. The marble show was so cool. We watched it more than once. They have created marble lovers for life.
