Working with Carl Ray for my wedding makeup was a fantastic experience. From our initial communication through the wedding day, Carl was responsive, professional, and a true calming presence. Carl hands down gave me the best face of makeup I’ve ever had. Not only did he do a great job technically, he was kind and funny and truly a joy to work with throughout. I picked Nina and her team to do my bridal hair and makeup because based on their portfolio, they specialize in modern bridal glam which is the look I was going for. We had a start time of 6 am and they arrived promptly and worked very professionally to quickly set up. They were fast and smooth and worked well in tandem, and my entire polished look was done in an hour. I have sensitive eyes and skin, and they were gentle yet effective and efficient. Asia & Nina traveled to Mt. Airy, MD for my wedding. They did a fantastic job with our hair and makeup. Everyone wanted a different style and Asia completely nailed it. If you are looking for a someone that is experienced with clip in extensions, or Hollywood waves, then Asia is your girl! For my makeup, Nina utilized the airbrush method, and I am so glad that I did because my ceremony was outside in 95 degrees, and we were all sweating so much! I was so worried what I was going to look like after, and when I returned inside for the reception, I just lightly dabbed my face with a handkerchief, and the makeup still looked flawless! I highly recommend Asia & Nina to anyone who looking to have bridal or event glam!

I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day because of Nina and her team. I am usually extremely picky about my makeup given I prefer natural looks for my everyday and they absolutely nailed the soft glam. They were extremely organized during our bridal trial process and of course the day of the wedding. I had a fairly large wedding party with 9 bridesmaids, and 3 moms and we started promptly at 8 am and were done by 11:30 all with quality hair and makeup. I can't count the amount of compliments I received on both my hair and makeup throughout the night. It lasted the entire time even through being on the dance floor all night. Would absolutely choose Veux Beauty over again if I had the chance.
