We work together to identify strengths and challenges in a relationship while exploring and normalizing challenges specific to each couple. This strengths-based approach facilitates the improvement of communication skills necessary to dive deeper into root issues. Rather than re-argue the same conflicts over again in session, we identify themes and patterns that are both working and not working. Each couple works to identify their goals for the relationship. We practice from a trauma-informed lens and have specialized training in grief-work, both of which can be present in relationships that are struggling. As a wife of almost 40 years and a mother, Holly works with couples in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. We practice from a sex-positive position and fully support LGBTQI+ individuals.

We take confidentiality very seriously. In-person sessions are in a private, secure room several doors from the waiting room. We use sound machines and do not overbook, so typically even the waiting rooms remain private. Any telehealth is also completed in a completely secure area, completely out of anyone else's earshot/location.

It varies greatly for each couple. By completing skills rehearsal outside of sessions and being honest in session, each couple can help facilitate growth. Infidelity repair is an example of counseling that may take longer. The length is explored and discussed with each couple throughout the counseling process.
