We tried this place for our first time because a close friend has recommended & posted about it for years. It was delicious & the menu is huge. Salsa was excellent, & we received a free side of fideo while we were waiting for our meal (the waitress said as long as they still have fideo, that’s customary). I got the Molcajete Hacienda. I didn’t realize it would come in that huge black stone pot, simmering, & it was an unexpected happy surprise. It was fun eating it out of that grand pot. We definitely recommend Hacienda Vieja & would go back.

This place is amazing! The menu is extensive, the food is authentic and delicious!! A place you must stop at, go outside your comfort zone and order something different, you’ll be blown away.

First time in, food was very good. The hot sauce was really good compared to the others that I've had recently that are chili based as the current trend is.

Good food, great prices, and even better service! We came in after attending a funeral, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their kindness and attentiveness truly meant a lot during a tough day. Highly recommend, not just for the delicious food, but for the genuine care they show their customers.

This place was awesome. Came out and had lunch with the family and it was a great time. Food was very flavorful and well seasoned. Highly recommend if you like Mexican food.

Great fresh food. Best I've had in long time. Atmosphere was also good! Service was fast. Food was hot and very flavorful.

I absolutely love coming to this Mexican restaurant! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Every dish I’ve tried has been amazing, full of authentic taste and generous portions. The service is just as great. everyone is so friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable coming back again and again. Whether you’re craving tacos, something hearty, or just a good meal with great vibes, this place never disappoints. Definitely one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend!.

Love it!!! I liked the spicy margarita and carnitas. Very yummy. Perfect thin and crispy chips, good flavor salsa. Dining area is clean and updated, service was amazing, I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes and margaritas. Best Mexican restaurant in independence that I’ve tried so far. This will be my future go-to when I need margs. Great job.

Love there food and so much I have forgotten how much they serve so very awesome Ty must go and eat there.
