My midwives were such a memorable part of my pregnancy and even my postpartum period. Beginning with a miscarriage, where Annie supported me through without even hiring her yet, all the way through my postpartum time, I truly will forever be grateful to her. Letty also was one of the most supportive practitioners I have ever had and she always made me feel so understood and well cared for, even as she visited me to support breastfeeding after having to transition to the hospital. Suzie also made such a difference in my care and was always positive and loving. These 3 women will forever hold a special place in my and my daughters heart. I trusted them with my medical decisions and their evidence based practice is truly unmatched!

We had considered a home birth for our second pregnancy. Considering we had so many issues due to hospital staff shortage with our first child. Annie explained everything so well, however, the ultrasound she ordered gave us a gigantic surprise revealing twins! Annie suggested Dr. Welshan at Chilldren's Hospital to us given the complexity of the pregnancy. I can see her recommendation was spot on and she was never pushy and truly wants what is best for her patients. She wanted to return the initial deposit and we turned it down since she gave us the best advice and honestly was looking out for our best interests.

Annie was my wife's midwife. She and her team are incredible. She and Letty attended my wife's home birth. Annie was so accommodating the entire pregnancy. I highly recommend Annie and her team. With every medical concern we brought Annie was able to provide objective and non pushy support so we could make our own decisions, even if that meant we choose not to have a home birth. In the end we were able to have an beautiful birth at home with healthy mom and baby.

After having a traumatic first birth, I was incredibly nervous about my second. The amazing midwives at Luna Tierra are not only kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable, but they're trauma informed as well. They asked many questions about my first birth so they could be familiar with my experience and provided the best care I've ever experienced. They never pushed me to do anything I wasn't sure about. They incorperated my husband and toddler in every appointment. They never told me they new more about my body or what I was expeiriencing than I did. They helped me heal the hurt that was caused by another provider during my first birth, which has made me much less afraid of having more kids. They treated me like a human, not a number, and empowered me to listen to my body and my husband to be the best birthing partner I could have asked for. I hold them in the highest regard, and will be birthing with them again when the next time comes!

My experience was absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to have another baby to have them here again. I had my son two years ago and I still love telling people my birth story because it was so special and I own that all to this beautiful place! The staff was so welcoming and supportive helped me have the birth my husband and I always dreamed of. Having an unmedicated birth is possible and my midwives helped me believe it. My husband and I felt heard we weren’t just another number being rushed out the office much like we felt at an OB office. If you want a personable experience full of thoughtful information and kind staff, you have to go here!

Loved my water birth so much and the great treatment you get all the time.
