Also, massive praise to Midwife Carla, who tuned into every detail during labor — noticing that baby’s head was oblique and helping align the heartbeat and positioning. That small adjustment made a huge difference. My labor was tough, but thanks to this amazing team, it became something I now treasure. I feel so blessed to have been guided and transferred to Midwife Co, who were supportive in my decision to wait until 41 weeks gestation to deliver. I absolutely highly recommend to have Kayce as your midwife! As soon as I found out I was pregnant I started looking for midwives and was grateful when I came across Kayce. From our first interview to my last postpartum check up, Kayce not only demonstrated knowledge and expertise, but she also exuded warmth, genuine caring, comfort, and safety, all of which were extremely important in having as a first time mom! I unfortunately had a complication in early labor, but I felt completely safe with Kayce’s evaluation and decision to transfer me to the hospital. When that happened, she stayed with me the whole time at the hospital and helped me to feel calm during a really scary situation. While at the hospital, she advocated for my birth plan to be as close as it could be to the original plan and helped the hospital environment feel almost as if it were at home. I am extremely grateful to have had Kayce by my side through the whole process and cannot say enough about not only what a wonderful provider she is, but also what a wonderful person she is as well.
