Attuned Midwifery

I had an outstanding experience with Annie and felt confident and supported throughout my pregnancy journey. During the prenatal and postpartum visits, Annie was supportive and knowledgeable. I was able to bring my other kids along with me to appointments and she always involved them in a special way. Both her and Suzy were able to help us understand what to expect every step of the way. We had many questions as this was our first home birth experience. During the home birth, Annie was a very calming presence. The entire experience was amazing. We highly recommend Annie if you are considering a home birth.

The decision to have a home birth in El Paso was very daunting at first. I was nervous that I wouldn’t find a midwife who would be a good match for me and my beliefs. When my husband and I interviewed Annie, she shared the experience she has and the many births she’s attended, answered all of our questions, and made us feel very confident in our decision to work with her. The genuine care I received by Annie and Suzy throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum was above and beyond what you’d get conventionally. We’ll definitely be back for the next baby!

My wife had two pregnancies and deliveries with Annie and Susy. Both were wonderful experiences for the whole family -- see my wife's review as well :-) My wife and I appreciated the supportive, professional approach. Gestational care, delivery, and postpartum care were all excellent! Annie was able to consistently put me at ease (something that was extremely beneficial being a first time, anxious mom). She was always very professional and knew how to answer all of my questions in a way that was informative but not overwhelming. She always checked in with me medically and mentally and made sure baby & I were healthy! I knew at anytime I could message Annie and she would get back with me as soon as she could (this never went over 24 hours - even if she had been at a birth)! Thanks to Annie, my husband and I continually felt empowered to make our own choices and do what felt right for our family. She always presented us with factual, credible research to make an informed choice and she always had our back when we made informed decisions. In labor Annie allowed me to have bodily autonomy and really dig in and trust myself. When it was time to bring our baby earth side Annie was extremely prepared and I consistently felt safe which, helped my labor progress smoothly. After labor and during my entire postpartum, Annie made sure I was well taken care of and nurtured. I have never felt so validated and taken care of in the medical field like I have under care with Annie. I cannot recommended Annie enough for midwifery care. I will definitely be returning with our future children! We love you, Annie!!
