FORT WORTH AVIATION MUSEUM REVIEWS

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our visit! There are many amazing war birds on display including the number 2 F-16 test plane. In addition to the great aircraft, what sets this museum apart is the knowledgeable and dedicated guides. Our guide Buster took his time and shared his knowledge and expertise as a Vietnam veteran and retired aviation industry employee. His attention to our visit was greatly appreciated and made the visit more enjoyable! It will definitely be worth your time to visit so don't hesitate to stop by!

Came to bring my son who is on the spectrum and loves airplanes. Was welcomed by a vet who walked with us the whole time and was super sweet and understanding of my two children on the spectrum. Will definitely be returning in the future! The variety of planes and helicopters is worth the visit at least once as well as the location being next to the air field and getting to see landings and take offs. 10/10 recommend! Will update if we decide to do a birthday party here in the future

Took my husband for our anniversary and he loved it! Got to sit inside a cockpit, got a custom tour from Erik, retired military pilot, who was very informative and so nice. We loved seeing all the old planes and helicopters and learning about all the mechanics and technical aspects that pilots handle.

“I had a fun time at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History! There’s a good mix of science and history exhibits, from dinos and cowboys to interactive hands-on areas that keep kids busy. The planetarium was also a cool experience that added something different to the visit. It feels great for families and kids especially, though some parts are more geared toward younger visitors and can be a bit dated in spots. Still, it’s a neat place to explore, learn, and spend a couple of hours if you’re in the Fort Worth Cultural District.”

Tons of interactive displays for children of all ages and lots of unique displays of dinosaurs, oil field equipment, and ranch life. Plus special exhibits for super heros and the barbie world. Grand finally was the omni theater movie Animal Kingdom which was well done.

Super fun and interactive my fire chief had a great time. Seriously he spent a long time rolling balls down tracks, shooting scarves out of the top of a "tornado" but by far the favorite was the truck with full sounds and steering wheel. I can assure you there are no fires anywhere near the museum.

NATIONAL COWGIRL MUSEUM & HALL OF FAME REVIEWS

Very well maintained and aesthetically pleasing museum with lots of interactive displays. The kids enjoyed all of the history of women and their roles on horsemanship, etc. They have a great collection of items on display, and we loved the art displays too. The kids enjoyed creating and designing their own boots and jackets with the interactive setup. They do have a lot of construction outside to expand but we did not have any problems parking on a weekday.

This museum is part of the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association and encompasses everything about cowgirls from holographic-like videos, paintings, and fashion. My favorite part was learning about the Soldaderas as this coincides with learning about Soldaderas in my AP World class less than a week ago. Staff was also very polite and helpful, would definitely recommend!

Ok we absolutely adored this museum!! They have some gorgeous exhibits and even some interactive ones!!! It’s located right next to the Fort Worth Science & History Museum and Omni Theater so you can park and easily visit all three!
