We love Lone Star Music Academy! Both my 10-year-old and 8-year-old have started taking piano lessons here, and the teachers are accomplished musicians who are knowledgeable, patient, and skilled at early music education. It’s easy to book trial lessons to try out a teacher or two to find the right fit for your child. Lauren at the front desk is always friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for music lessons in far north Dallas.

My 12-year-old 7th grade son, who is a gamer and typical robust active kid, likes coming here for the new piano app training. Initially skeptical, he chose to continue after his first two sessions of the new training. He found out he likes it and he decided to do group lessons without parental prompting/suggestions. Smile! Thank you, Lone Star Music Academy!! Imho, you are the best in the DFW metro for music training.

My daughters go to the Lone Star Academy. I can only say positive things about this place. All the teachers are great but Dr. Spyros is the best, I waited for him for months. He challenges them, and they have learned so much because of that. He is the best.

School of rock is amazing! My husband and I were musicians for years and had different backgrounds when it came to “lessons” my background was extremely boring and I know my kid wouldn’t have lasted a week learning the way I did. At SOR they make it so fun for the kids and I love that they put them in a band no matter what their level. It’s great for building confidence and learning how to work with a team. Overall this school has been great for my son. He absolutely loves it and can’t wait to go every week.

My son started at 7 with no prior experience and was petrified of the Stage. Now at 10 has moved to the performance band and loves doing vocals and dance move on stage. He went from panic attack to rock star in three years. Great instructors. We haves loved everyone of them Best part as a parent is it’s a place we feel safe sending our son to and it’s a place he loves to go. Win Win.

My son has been performing with School of Rock Dallas for several years now. The teachers and fantastic and the staff is very responsive. Nothing beats seeing your kid play in real rock venues. It's a one-of-a-kind program and I highly recommend.

We've been taking guitar lessons with Mr. Dylan, and he is an incredible teacher. He’s a genuinely wonderful guy who makes learning fun and engaging Great office team I’ve reached out, they’ve been super friendly and helpful, always making sure everything runs smoothly and that we have the support we need. the lady recommended that we try a trial class, with no pressure to commit Highly recommend checking them out. we tried guitar but we will surely register our second son when he's old enough to start.

The best! Well run. Quality teachers. Our daughter has been a piano student there for the last two year after the move from NY. She has made a tremendous progress and she always looks forward to her classes - they know how to keep the kids engaged. Highly recommend.

My 2 and 3 year old take music classes with Ms. Elaine and it is the highlight of their week. They adore learning and playing the instruments, singing and dancing. It’s a wonderful foundation for them to build their musical talents on.
