Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is one of the most visited historic sites in Texas. The museum is housed in the former Texas School Book Depository building, where evidence of a sniper was discovered after President Kennedy's assassination on 22 November 1963. The exhibition area of the museum houses historical films, photos, artifacts, and performance exhibits to recording the events. The museum presents the political and social context of the early 1960s, chronicles the assassination and aftermath of President Kennedy, and focuses on his lasting impact on their country & world. Audio guides are available in eight languages, including ASL. It affords free admission for children (0-5).
