Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is one of Dallas's most great outdoor attractions. It is a 66-acre spectacular show garden that showcases unique annual flowers. It is comprised of two estates, the DeGolyer estate and the Camp estate. The garden contains an outdoor concert series with magnificent floral displays on Thursday evenings and various water features. It attracts over 541,000 visitors from 50 countries that came past year through their door. The garden offers the public an additional set of dedicated gardens, various famous annual events, educational programs, and a focus on family-oriented activities. Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden provide 12 free tours of the Rory Meyers adventure garden for children. The members can enjoy the garden with free admission.

Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is one of the most visited historic sites in Texas. The museum is housed in the former Texas School Book Depository building, where evidence of a sniper was discovered after President Kennedy's assassination on 22 November 1963. The museum has historic films, photographs, artifacts, and interpretive displays and has the life, times, death, and legacy of United States President John F. Kennedy. The museum presents the political and social context of the early 1960s, chronicles President Kennedy's assassination and aftermath, and focuses on his lasting impact on their country & world. Audio guides are available in eight languages, including ASL. Sixth Floor Museum affords free admission for children (0-5).
