Cole's Lessons

Our daughter is a talented drum-kit player, but is too young to easily find a band to join. Solo lessons do not fill the need she has for developing as a part of a band. Cole's program has provided her with a set of musically talented peers and the framework for learning songs together and preparing for a high stakes gig in a professional setting. His "band coaching" has filled a much needed niche for developing musicians of all ages. The gigs, themselves, are a powerful event, in so many ways, for both the bands and the audience. Fantastic model for a music program and the only one like it in town as far as we have been able to find. Cole is approachable, trustworthy, and serves as an experienced and quite, but effective, musical guide, rather than a director. Thanks, Cole.

Cole is a talented musician with a passion for learning and sharing his knowledge. He is thoughtful in his teaching and it is readily apparent that he puts preparation into each lesson, coming into it with exactly what you need on your individual journey. He has taught both me and my elementary age son and has demonstrated skill in handling both ages with success. His greatest asset is his flexibility and ability to pivot at any point to guide you where you want to go at the pace that is appropriate for you. He’s a joy.

For more than five years, Cole Robinson has been my guitar instructor. I knew nothing about playing before Cole's guitar wisdom entered my world. His patience, musicianship, magnificent teaching style and openness has been the main reason I keep coming back. I'm a working professional, father and husband with little time to devout to hobbies. However, Cole has made guitar playing fun and achievable. I'd highly recommend him to anyone.
