“2026 Update: Dr. Thomas Steineke attends Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for his medical degree and also completes a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Loma Linda University. He is a board-certified neurosurgeon with advanced training in complex brain tumors, including gliomas, glioblastomas, pituitary tumors, and meningiomas, as well as neurovascular conditions such as aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, and he also treats epilepsy and seizure disorders in both adults and children. Dr. Thomas Steineke serves as the former Chairman of the Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Neuroscience Institute and Director of the Minimally Invasive Intracranial and Skull Base Program, and brings over 20 years of experience in brain tumor and neurovascular surgery. Dr. Steineke focuses on the surgical treatment of complex brain disorders in adults and children, including skull base tumors, brain tumors, pituitary tumors, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, cerebral bypass for Moyamoya disease, and Chiari malformations.
