Dr. William C. Welch finished his medical degree in 1995 at Sunydownstate School Of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Strong Memorial Hospital. He finished his fellowships at Montefiore Medical Center. He currently practices at Penn Neurosurgery. Dr. William specializes in performing cutting-edge spinal surgery and microdiscectomy procedures. He is expertise in Ankylosing Spondylitis, Artificial Disc Replacement Surgery in the Cervical Spine and Lumbar Spine, Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Leak. He also effectively treats the trauma of the head and spine to his patients. Dr. William C. Welch has conducted research on spinal biomechanics. He is a member of the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, International College of Surgeons, Pennsylvania Rare Disease Advisory Council, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Society.
