WILLIAM C. WELCH, MD, FACS, FICS - PENN NEUROSURGERY REVIEWS
Dr. Welch performed a microdiscectomy on my lower back. I was having extreme sciatic pain down my leg and into my foot. As soon as I woke up from surgery, I felt relief. Dr. Welch is an expert in his field, extremely thorough, and very professional. His entire team at UPenn is top notch! I would recommend him to anyone.
Extraordinary professionalism, knowledge, and compassion. I highly recommend. I know others that have been under his care and echo the same feelings.
Dr. William C. Welch is by far the best surgeon I have ever dealt with. He is so approachable and compassionate that his "bed side manner" sets the standard for all other health care providers I interact with.

PAUL J. MARCOTTE, MD - PENN NEUROSCIENCE CENTER REVIEWS
Dr. Marcotte gave me my life back and I'm so grateful my family physician recommended him! I had worked with a physiatrist for six years and the last year, I could not walk two blocks without resting due to cramping in my left leg. Dr. Marcotte evaluated my symptoms and studies, offered treatment, and explained outcomes. I elected to have surgery and was able to have it scheduled in a short time. Within a week postop, I was walking 35 minutes without cramping. Hiking, here I come!.
Dr Marcotte Is a fantastic doctor and I loved him he has a wonderful way about you I left feeling so much better. Yes I would and do recommend Dr. Marcotte. He is a gifted and talented surgeon. The Nurse Practitioners that work with him are also tremendous!, It can be difficult to schedule your initial appointment. The office staff are friendly but seem to have to follow a certain protocol which limits their flexibility .
Dr. Marcotte changed my life in and I now live pain-free because of his expertise in spinal fusion surgery. I lived in horrible pain for three years and nothing helped. I was recommended to Dr. Marcotte by my sister who is a doctor and I thank God every day he was the neurosurgeon that performed my surgery. He is top notch and I would only recommend him to anyone who has severe back pain and is a candidate for surgery.

JAMES S. HARROP, MD - JEFFERSON UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS - REVIEWS
He is the best neuro- spinal surgeon . He saved my life, my ability to walk, and the time left in my life I have nothing but praise for this fine surgeon. He removed a malignant, one in a million type tumor from my spine in an all day surgery. His follow-up, concern and care was superb. His entire staff is skilled in working with patients so that you never feel that you are not being listened to. They go out of their way to help you and support your care.
Dr. Harrop is an amazing surgeon, and overall just an awesome person. He and a team of surgeons corrected my sisters scoliosis. She had a 65 degree curvature in her spine. She is now upright. It was incredible. We are soo very grateful to have found him.
Dr Harrop is my hero!! I had lumbar surgery!! I am a RN and had what we thought would be a career ending injury. He helped regain my life!!!
