ARNOLD VARDIMAN, MD, FAANS, FACS - METHODIST PHYSICIAN PRACTICES, PLLC. REVIEWS
Had reviewed results of MRI at chronic pain office. Indicated a fragment on L4 L5. They made appointment for me with another surgeon bit it was 6 weeks out just to meet with him . Found dr vardiman in my plan , sent them the mri results and within a week I was able to see and discuss options. Surgery and removal was best option I agreed with in two weeks surgery completed. I am 100 % pain free can sleep again and move with out any jolting pain down my left side again. Walking again like before almost a year ago. Great dr. Would highly recommend. His staff at the office friendly, and at the hospital too. Great all around.
Dr. Vardiman is the best surgeon!! I had a Tumor that he removed without any problems. The hospital for my therapy was awesome! His office staff is great. I highly recommend him. Not that I want anyone to have a tumor.

CHRISTOPHER BOGAEV, MD - METHODIST PHYSICIAN PRACTICES, PLLC. REVIEWS
If I could rate this facility, personnel, staff, and doctor a 100%, I would. As a patient, I was treated with the upmost kindness and respect from the moment I stepped into this facility. For a brief reasoning as to why I needed a visit, I was diagnosed with a benign pituitary microadenoma (small brain tumor) about 7 years ago and it was time that I saw a neurosurgeon to see what the next steps would be for the best of my health. Dr. Bogaev was the neurosurgeon I saw and this was the first medical experience that I can say that I was treated truthfully, carefully, and honestly. Dr. Bogaev respectively saw my MRI's, took his time to get to know me (as the patient), and gave me the best medical opinion. If I had not seen Dr. Bogaev, my life would have probably been in complete shambles if certain medical manners would have ended up in the wrong hands. Thank you to Dr. Bogaev and his staff for being very courteous throughout my visit. I will recommend this facility and doctor to anyone who may need his medical advice and/or treatment.
I have never in my life been under the care of a doctor w/ this caliber of skill who also has a caring, compassionate heart for soul for his parients. I am blessed to have been referred to him, especially considering the scope of my surgery. Other professionals at the time were amazed by what he was able to do. So very grateful.
Dr.Bogaev did my brain aneurysms surgery and saved my life when 5 other Dr wouldn’t touch me. He saved my life in 2010 and he is the best Neurosurgeon and Dr in San Antonio.

GERARDO ZAVALA II, MD, FAANS - NEUROSURGERY & SPINE CONSULTANTS REVIEWS
Dr. Zavala is such an awesome neurosurgeon and is very knowledgeable. I took my daughter to him almost 5 years ago and he did her decompression surgery, and it has given her life back. Dr. Zavala was very upfront with everything and let us know that surgery may not work. I found myself in his office as a patient about 2 months ago. He wanted some more tests done and for me to try a medication before having to place a shunt. I love how he will take the time and do extra testing if necessary to find out what's causing the problem, and doesn't just go straight to surgery if it's not necessary. It has turned out that the medication has worked so far. His office staff is awesome as well. They are very helpful and nice.
Great surgeon with a good personality. Pretty rare with a doctor to joke around with them. I had a laminectomy from Dr. Zavala about a year and a half ago at the South Texas Spine Hospital. Great nurses and staff. My sincere recommendation for Dr. Zavala and the Hospital.
I’ve been having a great experience in all the process, before and after my lower back spine surgery. All the team at the NSC are very professional and kind. My progress after 4 months of the surgery is very positive and effective. I feel great following the therapy program with discipline and with Dr Zavala & his team instructions.
