After bad car accident I had a my neck broken at C6-C7. When I was brought into Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital I was in bad shape with a temperature of 80.1°and absolutely no brain activity. My family was told to say their good byes and nobody was willing to perform the necessary surgery on my neck until Dr Germaine warmed me up and got me conscious. After 10 and a half hours of surgery I survived and I am able to be here for my family. She checked on me every day until I for rehab and since then She is always available for an appointment whenever I have questions. GIAC CONSIGLIERI, MD - PROVIDENCE MEDICAL GROUP SANTA ROSA REVIEWS
I had to have emergency back surgery a few weeks ago. Dr. Consiglieri did the surgery. He was quite kind, as well as other surgeons from their office. They explained everything before the surgery, and checked in on me every day. So far, I am no longer in severe pain. I wasn't even able to walk - I had to take an ambulance from my bed at home. Crushed discs w/out any more padding in between L4 and L5. They put a "cage" in and I was able to walk the next day. Today is three weeks post-operation and I am just fine. No more need for pain medication. I am grateful.
I am very pleased with the results of my back surgery. Dr Consiglieri was very kind and explained my procedure and prognosis clearly. It was a complex surgery and I am 8 weeks out and able to begin my walking regime. The follow up after surgery was comforting and professional. I feel it was a complete success and thankful.
Very happy with Dr Consiglieri. He was very kind, present and clearly/honestly guided me. He took the time to listen & gave me what felt like the best option for my herniated disc. Also his office staff are nice and efficient. Thank you! (building is across the street from the big parking garage).

KURTIS G. BIRCH, MD - PROVIDENCE MEDICAL GROUP SANTA ROSA REVIEWS
About two years ago Dr. Birch preformed a spinal fusion of T-11-L-3 after a sports accident broke my L-1 badly. Not only did he succeed in the surgery, allowing me to return to 100% mobility/no pain, he was available for all of my questions and concerns post operation. His confidence in his abilities gave me confidence in my recovery and in turn took what could have been the worst event in my life and made it positive. Thank you Dr. Birch! Ps don't be fooled by the baby face photo, he's a pro!
Best thing I can say is he explained all my concerns to me, he spoke to me as a lay person, which is great. Was not impatient with my many questions. Next best thing I can say is, when I have my surgery, I hope he will be my guy.
Dr Birch is very through in his explanations and procedures. He also exhibits a great compassion for his patience.
