James also completed his internship and residency at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. He is the co-founder of Northern California Orthopaedic Associates and is a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon. He treats all orthopedic conditions, including sports medicine, trauma, and total joint reconstruction. Dr. Ron E. James is one of the few orthopedic surgeons in the Sacramento area who is able to perform hip arthroscopy and anterior hip replacement surgery for select patients. He has hospital and surgical privileges at Grass Valley Surgery Center, Mercy General Hospital, Greater Sacramento Surgery Center, Mercy Methodist Hospital, Mercy San Juan Hospital, Sutter Medical Center, Roseville Surgery Center, and Sutter Alhambra Surgery Center.”
