“Dr. George N. Zoys earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He finished his sports medicine, reconstructive procedures, and joint replacement fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He has special interests in sports medicine, trauma, and joint replacement. He has over 28 years of experience. He is an Associate Member of the Texas Orthopaedic Association. Dr. George subsequently received the Charles Rockwood Award for Excellence in Orthopedics. Dr. Zoys accepted a Sports Medicine fellowship in Australia, where he participated in the orthopedic coverage of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. He has been the current chairman of the Board of Baylor Scott & White Surgicare North Garland since 2021.”
