Dr. Stephen I. Esses is an internationally recognized orthopedic surgeon. He earned his MS and MD from the University of Toronto in Ontario. Dr. Stephen is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and the American Board of Spine Surgery. He has developed new surgical techniques and implants for treating spinal problems. Dr. Stephen specializes in treating spinal disorders. His clinical interests are in the biomechanics of the spine, minimally invasive surgery, and coccygeal pain. Dr. Stephen has published numerous articles and book chapters on spine-related issues.
