Dr. Chad A. Carlsson graduated with honors from Illinois College of Optometry and completed a Contact Lens and Binocular Vision Disorders residency program. The doctor earned Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry (2008), was elected Young Optometrist of the Year (2013), and profiled in the AOA Focus Magazine (2014). Dr. Chad A. Carlsson opened the Carlsson Family Eye Center in 2006. He gained hands-on practice giving advanced care by treating and managing ocular pathologies such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and uveitis, anterior segment disease, and specialty contact lens fittings. Dr. Chad A. Carlsson worked to manage various forms of visual dysfunctions in children and adults, including strabismus, amblyopia, and other accommodative disorders.
