“Dr. Kaeleen Franson is a Nebraska native who earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Part of her training during optometry school included rotations specializing in glaucoma and ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatrics. While pursuing her education, she was an active member of the local Lions Club Chapter and the Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity student chapter. Dr. Franson helped underserved populations access optometric healthcare in the United States and Mexico through these organizations. She has a lifelong passion for assisting others in obtaining eyeglasses and healthcare and has participated in several community health events.”
