This was my first visit in the new office and I was so impressed. I was greeted by the front office team, they were all knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The Dr had a great chairside manner. She explained everything to me and made me feel super comfortable, she listened to my concerns and didn’t make me feel rushed. The technicians had great style and helped me pick out the best frames for my face shape….it felt like shopping with a trusted friend. I was in and out, my insurance was well explained, all of my options and benefits were given and most importantly I feel like I am in good hands. Besides the Dr and team being so great, the office is gorgeous. It’s modern, has state of the art technology, and it has a massive selection of frames to choose from.

Pleasant , professional front office staff greet you on arrival. Wait times are virtually nonexistent. The facility is clean, bright, spacious and stylish. Doctor Wood is kind and thorough. She provides helpful information and answers questions readily. I look forward to my next annual visit.

First, Empire Optometry's office is beautiful. It feels good just waking in there. They also have great customer service and all the state of the art tools. I love not having to have my eyes dilated because they have the special machine. They also have a great selection of frames to choose from if you need!.

I definitely do not understand the negative reviews for Dr. Shulkin. I have been going to him for 5 years now and he is truly caring, amazing, professional and most of all knowledgeable and smart. I have received both my contacts and glasses from his office, he is centrally located, and a fast turnaround. Appointments are quick, if you have an emergency he always makes time for you. Definitely a doctor you're comfortable with and super caring. I can't say enough about him.

I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to write Dr. Shulkin a glowing review. He’s been my optometrist since I started wearing contacts my freshman year of high school (~15 years ago!). I’ve moved a couple of times and had to go to different optometrists during those times but recently went back to Dr. Shulkin and couldn’t have had a better experience in getting new glasses. He is knowledgeable, responsive and super helpful. His team is also very sweet (and busy! Be kind to them!) I’m very lucky to have had him to fall back on for quick and effortless lens & contact care. He’s such an expert!

It seems they have either changed staff or practice because I went a few days ago and it was very quick and service was good.

Dr. Walker has been my "go - to" optometry specialist since he and Angie opened their practice. After my "no-cost" Medicare RX in S.R. I bring it to Dr. Walker to verify. The slight adjustments he has made ensures expensive glasses are absolutely the best RX for me.

From Angie, a most pleasant and efficient receptionist, to a friendly, patient and kind doctor; my visit to Dr Walker got me progressive trifocals that not only work well, but look and fit well. AND glasses were ready when they said they would be .

Dr. Walker and Angie are wonderful with patients. They are knowledgeable and caring. We have been going there for over 15 years and will continue to do so for another 15.
