JULIE MANKINEN, PT, OCS, FAAOMPT - SYMMETRY PHYSICAL THERAPY REVIEWS
Julie Mankinen is the best physical therapist I’ve ever had. She is worth the wait and is always booked out way in advance. She’s extremely intuitive about how she scans your body and determines how to proceed with an exercise plan. Her bedside manner is matter of fact and kind hearted. I’ve come in for knee and ankle pains a she figured out my hips were out of alignment from childbirth. My twins were six years old at the time of discovery. I’d been walking around crooked all of that time. My pains were because one leg was riding shorter than other because my hips needed adjusted. After her adjustment and routine, I was good as new. I cannot speak of her highly enough.
Julie Mankinen is the best! I wanted a PT with experience working on ankles / feet (I had broken my ankle), and from Julie's bio, I could tell she was that PT -- she exceeded my expectations and the facility is beautiful and spacious, the staff super friendly and helpful. I've received the best treatment and advising, making it well worth the drive from southwest Austin, to near the Domain / St. David's Mopac area. Thank you, Symmetry!
I was fortunate to see Julie & co. in 2017 for pre & rehab before & after knee replacement with great success now working on a second knee job. No place I'd rather be, a great group of people.

JASON BROWN, PT, DPT, OCS - TEXAS PHYSICAL THERAPY SPECIALISTS REVIEWS
I was referred to Jason Brown after shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff, repair of labrum tear, clavicle resection, and debridement of my right shoulder area. arthritis. I had significant pain and loss of mobility pre-op(my arm was mostly a noodle), not a good situation for a 68 year old lady living independently. I'm a retired RN so I can be a firm in my expectations for my healthcare and my experience with Jason and Texas Physical Therapy has been excellent by any standard from my first contact with Linda online until this week when I graduated after 3.5 months. From contacts with Front desk to PT Assistants and students, everyone was friendly and supportive. Jason explains the exercises, helps you understand your surgery and the objectives of therapy and really collaborates with you on a good outcome. He also understood and made adjustments with me for limitations created by other health issues I have. Today, 4 months after my November surgery, I have excellent range of motion, no pain and am back to my normal activities. If you have shoulder issues I would urge you to contact Jason sooner rather than later. A visit ahead of surgery would have been very helpful. So thanks, Jason my friend. You're the best.
Dr. Jason Brown and his team are amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and really listens. Meds are fine but they don’t solve your problem and are no long term fix. I was actually surprised my doctor sent me to pt but I am so glad he did. I recovered so much faster. I am so thankful for Jason and his team. They really are the best!
Jason and staff are friendly and professional. They work with you to find the best therapy to help with your pain or injury.
