Hands down the BEST place for physical therapy in Columbia. My teenager was apprehensive to go at first. He has had the most fun and engaging experiences with Dr Jim Floyd and Dr Jackson Probst. They helped him overcome his injury through dry needling, exercises and in depth explanations to avoid future damage. He was also given an extensive at home plan through their helpful app and personalized videos. It’s hard to excite a teenager for much but he very much enjoyed his experience! Ascent is the answer to your physical therapy needs. You will not only benefit from their extensive knowledge but also cared for like you are part of their family.

Oh My Gosh!! Brittany is a Miracle Worker! I had a horrible "massage" that resulted in me not being able to walk up and down stairs without wincing from knee pain for over 2 weeks. Rest, heat, ice, and arthritis cream were useless. I drove from MD to SC to visit my sister, and she immediately said, "you have to see Brittany"! Gratefully, she squeezed me in and did dry needling on my hip and QL. I was so relieved and for about 6 hours was literally pain free. The next morning, she did the process again and it worked completely. She never touched my knee! I have been going up and down flights of stairs like a champ, even carrying my suitcase. Her knowledge of how every muscle, nerve, tendon, bone work together and how to manipulate them is second to none! Like I said, she never touched my knee!! She recommended three Therapists in the MD area and I am hopeful one can work some magic on my long standing low back pain. I've been to PT before, and never had success like this. 5 Stars are not enough. Thank you Brittany and her excellent staff.

Brittany knows her stuff in and out. She is hands down the best therapist this old weekend warrior has ever come across. I originally came to her with years and years of aches and pains. Back, hip, foot elbow. You name I hurt it. She thoroughly hit the nail on the head and corrected many imbalances allowing me to get back to what I love the great outdoors. She showed me how to maintain my progress at home and used whatever technique I needed to get me moving again. If you want you freedom of movement back use her services. Get you life back.

I just finished a triathlon yesterday and my legs were so sore and tight that I could not even bend over. Dr. Berlinrut was quickly able to relieve my pain and restore my flexibility in just a few minutes. I was quite impressed and thankful. She certainly has a healing touch.
