SOUTH CAROLINA VETERINARY SPECIALISTS & EMERGENCY CARE REVIEWS
Words not being to cover the gratitude that I have for the staff and this clinic. My pet got sick over the weekend at night, me and my family live in August , the hospital that was near us dismissed us over the phone and told us that they were not taking any more pets and that we had to drive an hour to SC. I looked up what clinics were open and this one appeared, we called and they told us that they were going to be waiting for us. Once we got there they took care of absolutely everything and immediately I felt at peace because in my heart I knew my pet was in good hands. The staff was so loving and caring they gave me and my family emotional support the entire time. They truly saved my Bobbie’s life and I am forever grateful. It’s good to know that there are people out there that truly love and care for our animals.
My cat was recently treated at SCVSEC after suffering a seizure. While we didn’t have the outcome we hoped for, I know she received great care. Dr Hall and Dr Mabry were most caring and compassionate toward both my cat and me. They showed concern for Chloe’s quality of life and guided and supported me in making the decision to end her suffering. I felt fully informed about the care provided all the way to the end when Dr Hall thoroughly explained the end of life procedure. I appreciate all their efforts and am confident my sweet kitty could not have received better care anywhere else.
Words cannot describe how thankful my family and I are for the SC Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Care. Although our fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge this morning, we find peace knowing that her last few hours were spent with a team who truly cared about her. They were very thorough in their examinations, extremely empathetic, provided multiple options, checked in frequently, and supported our family the entire time . Thank you for making this process as painless as possible. We are forever grateful.

SHANDON-WOOD ANIMAL CLINIC REVIEWS
We were going to Garners Ferry Animal Hospital when we had an emergency on the weekend. Since Garners Ferry is only open Monday through Friday 8 am- 5pm we had to go to CVETS and found that there could be an 8 hour wait. I called SWAC and they were kind enough to see us within 1.5 hours. The staff and Dr. Bradley were amazing. We decided to see Dr. Cosentino as Milo's regular vet and went in for a meet and greet and to get Milo's Bordetella Vaccine and Flu Vaccine since Garners Ferry Animal Hospital does not, at the time, have the flu vaccine in their office. We have since transferred Milo to SWAH and have not been disappointed. The staff that I have spoken with several times in office and on the phone are professional, accommodating, and friendly! I would highly recommend SWAH to anyone who needs amazing, friendly, and caring veterinarians and staff! Thanks for being there for us and Milo Shandon-Wood!
We love SWAC! They take such great care of our dog and our cat. Both are seniors, so we have been taking them to Dr. Otis for many years. SWAC is the best!
Shandon Wood is amazing. They found a way to fit me in for an emergency, and even though I know they were already so busy, they were extremely kind and patient with me and helped me get my cat the emergency care and relief that he needed. Everyone was so caring and smart, and I appreciate their dedication and service to families in this community! Can’t recommend them enough.

CVETS - COLUMBIA VETERINARY EMERGENCY TRAUMA AND SPECIALTY REVIEWS
My little dog, chewy has been really sick. I called CVETS and they recommended me bring my dog in since he was having labored breathing. They text me a pre register link right away. I filled it out right before leaving out. It was a quick and easy form. When I got my dog there. They took him right back to triage. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful and the veterinarian was extremely informative. The place was very well cleaned and professional. I am happy with the way they cared for my dog. I will recommend this place to anyone.
We brought our sweet Skylar in Wednesday night after complications from her teeth cleaning/extraction. After an emotional 5 days, we had to say our goodbyes to my baby. As hard and difficult as it was to come to this decision, the CVETs staff did everything and more to make sure she had every fighting chance to come back home. On the day of, they gave us space and as much time as we needed for our goodbyes. They let us go outside, checked in to see if we needed anything, and accommodated every need/request we had. I have a hole in my heart from her absence but having Dr. Herrera there to comfort not just Skylar but us through this process is something I am forever grateful for. I could genuinely see Dr. Herrera’s care for my fur baby. I can’t thank CVETs, the staff, and especially, Dr. Herrera for everything they did for my family.
We are so impressed with CVETS in west Columbia. Our sweet baby had bladder cancer and got really bad over the weekend. His normal vet was closed and we knew his time was short. The staff at CVETS was so kind and so compassionate. They put us in a private room to spend time with him before he was put under. They let us have all the time we needed. The nurse and the doctor were so kind and reassuring. They had tears in their eyes as well. They listened and were so gentle with our Scruffy. Their prices were honestly very good. They handled getting him cremated for us and showed us the same compassion when I picked him up. They are top notch.
