"Kim Marshall earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western University and her physical therapy degree from California State University. She obtained her master's degree in biokinesiology from the University of Southern California in 1996. She has specialized in the treatment of orthopedic injuries for the past 20 years. Recently, she has focused her continuing education on rehabilitating the side effects of cancer and cancer treatment. Kim Marshall developed this interest after her grandmother's breast cancer diagnosis, which led to shoulder mobility loss and lymphedema due to surgery and subsequent treatment. She became certified in lymphedema treatment and completed STAR training to address other cancer side effects such as unspecified pain, neuropathy, and fatigue. In October 2004, Kim Marshall co-founded Progressive Physical Therapy.

I was suffering from BPPV and was referred to Ascend Physical Therapy. Wayne Chen was my therapist. He thoroughly explained everything that was going on. He treated me on two occasions and I was better. His knowledge and compassion was outstanding. The office staff is super nice and friendly.

Excellent. Fixed my husband’s vertigo in minutes after weeks of struggling with severe symptoms. Knowledgeable, professional, helpful staff - therapists, aides and front office. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Level Up Physical Therapy in Garden Grove enough! Dan has helped both of my kids recover from multiple sports injuries and got them back on the field stronger and more confident. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and attentive he is. My daughter had been misdiagnosed, and Dan quickly recognized that something wasn’t right. He pointed us in the right direction for the proper treatment, and she started feeling better almost immediately. Dan genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to understand the injury instead of just treating the symptoms. If you’re looking for a physical therapist who is experienced, compassionate, and committed to getting athletes safely back to doing what they love, Level Up Physical Therapy is the place to go. Thank you, Dan, for everything you’ve done for our family.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Danny and the incredible work he does. I had a pretty weird nerve injury that made my leg and foot numb from the knee down, but also kept me from lifting or moving my foot and toes. Physical therapy at Level Up got me back to 100% feeling and mobility. After my success, I sent my stepson, who was suffering from major back and hip pain. I swear Dr. Danny is a magician. Not only did my stepson have incredible success physically, but having such a major decrease in pain also helped him mentally. If you are considering Level Up for your physical therapy needs, do it. You will not be sorry.

I had knee replacement surgery 9 weeks ago, I started at Level Up approximately at 6 weeks post op after going to another facility because of an insurance change. Danny has by far and so far exceeded my expectations and had made me feel so much better. His equipment and techniques are well researched and are working. The personal time you get with him makes a difference, instead of being shuffled around by PT aids and just getting thrown into exercises without being monitored, he’s right there with you all the way! I look forward to my full recovery pain free with Danny.

Overdue review, but Kim worked magic with my dad. Completely resolved his lower limb lymphedema through compression wrapping and massage when the diuretics that his primary care physician provided did not work. You have to stick to the appointment schedule and be compliant with the wraps and compression socks. Trust the process. It really works.

my Dr referred me to Progressive Physical Therapy due to a related stiffness after cancer surgery. Kim Marshall was great. She understands the cancer patient and worked with me with incredible results. The staff was very easy to work with and very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Everyone here is so nice & caring! Meryl & Norma are terrific and Devon’s is so sweet. Kim Marshall is the best Lymphatic Therapist & I wish I’d found her long ago. Happy to be here for treatment.
