“Ruchira Kamat completed her Bachelor's in Physiotherapy from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. After gaining experience as an outpatient provider and undergoing internship with a manual therapist from Australia, she pursued a Master's in Health Sciences with a focus on Orthopedics from the University of Indianapolis. Her professional journey included working at a skilled nursing facility in Michigan, where she assisted individuals with balance disorders in achieving functional independence. Before joining BreakThrough, she spent over three years in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting in Greenfield, Indiana, which expanded her expertise in manual therapy and the study of various movement impairment patterns. To stay current in her field, she consistently engages in continued education courses, focusing on areas such as Vestibular Rehabilitation, Movement System Impairment, Cervico-thoracic dysfunction, muscle energy techniques (MET) for rib dysfunction, and Maitland techniques for joint mobilization.”
