Great food, great beer great service. We bypassed the line as we only had 2 and sat at the window. Morel crotini was amazing and the deep fried pigs ear surprisingly tasty. Anchovies pizza was our favorite and the sweet fennel sausage a close second. Really good and an upscale pizza place with more pizza than just pizza. We loved it. Worth the wait and you know why there is a wait in the first place.

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent, shoutout to Francesca! The Brussel sprouts and kale salad were so fresh and tasty. We ordered the spicy lamb meatball pizza and the sweet fennel sausage pizza and the sweet fennel was a favorite! For dessert, the apple crostada and zeppole were divine! We will absolutely be back.

I love this place and come here often. You can always count on it for great pizza. I usually almost aways also get the kale salad, so good. It has family style seating.

MELLOW MUSHROOM DURHAM REVIEWS

I really enjoy their food, but the restaurant (even when not busy) is filthy. The benches, chairs, tables, and floors are dirty. Crumbs, grease, wrappers litter the entire place and the staff sees it and walks right by it. In fact, at this current visit, my waitress provided me with extra napkins and watched me clean the table and bench.

Had a very welcome but an unexpected relative in town and needed to be able to spontaneously find gluten-free lunch and was excited for that. Could share GF pizza and have salads as well as we enjoyed a walking tour of American Tobacco area.

I love Mellow Mushroom, but the location where I live is kind of lame. So when I'm out of town, I always try the local 'Shroom. As expected, this one had good pizza, good salad, good service and funky vibe. We went back twice.

RANDY'S PIZZA REVIEWS

This is a great Pizza spot in Durham, it is close to the RTP area and offers great food at a great price. I went for my lunch break, and I ordered the 2 slice special with a drink. I chose 1 bbq chicken pizza and a normal cheese pizza. First thing I noticed about the pizza slices was that they were huge! The BBQ chicken was decent, but I wished the cheese pizza had a little bit more cheese. It seemed like there was more sauce than cheese, but that is my only critique. Definitely check them out, they’ve got a wide range of pizzas/subs/wings. Great place to gather for lunch with plenty of seating and parking .

I had the barbecue chicken pizza. Probably would have been good but they just put too much sauce on it. Very friendly service. I definitely go back and try again.

Pizza was delicious and the service was great ! I love a clean restaurant, i was going to take the pizza to go but the restaurant was so clean i had to eat inside.
