The Maryland Zoo is committed to bringing people to the beauty of the living world. The zoo is a 135-acre park located in historic Druid Hill Park in the northwestern area of the City of Baltimore, Maryland. The zoo is home to over 80 African Penguins and manages North America's largest and most active African Penguin breeding colony. The Maryland Zoo aims to inspire and educate people to join it in actively supporting and conserving wildlife and wild places. Visitors can view polar bears on one side and grizzly bears on the other side. They have teams of dedicated keepers who monitor polar bears' behavior and provide them with training and enrichment.
