National Aquarium aims to inspire the conservation of the world's aquatic treasures. The aquarium holds more than 2,200,000 US gallons (8,300,000 L) of water and features over 16,000 species living in award-winning settings that have been faithfully replicated. Tourists can travel from the rainforest's treetops to the open sea's depths, where they will encounter a diverse range of fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and marine mammals. Since its inception, the aquarium has consistently been ranked among the top three aquariums in the world, with more than 51 million visits. The Maryland Zoo is committed to bringing people closer to the beauty of the living world. The zoo is a 135-acre park located in historic Druid Hill Park in the northwestern area of the City of Baltimore, Maryland. It is home to over 80 African penguins and manages North America's largest and most active African penguin breeding colony. The Maryland Zoo aims to inspire and educate people to join in actively supporting and conserving wildlife and wild places. Visitors can view polar bears on one side and grizzly bears on the other.
