The Aquarium is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire the conservation of the world's aquatic treasures. Since its inception, the Aquarium has constantly been ranked among the top three aquariums in the world, with more than 51 million visits. The National Aquarium covers animal planets. Australia's attractions are wild extremes, a 4-D immersion experience. Visitors can participate in a variety of animal encounters as well as scuba diving. Maryland evenings, half-price Friday nights throughout the year, and notable annual events are all available at the Aquarium. Tourists can ride from the rainforest's treetops to the open sea's depths, where they will encounter a diverse range of fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and marine mammals. The Maryland Zoo is committed to bringing people to the beauty of their world of living. The Zoo was developed with the mission to inspire and educate people. The Baltimore Zoo is a 135-acre park in historic Druid Hill Park in the northwestern City of Baltimore, Maryland. The Maryland Zoo resides with over 80 African Penguins and manages North America's biggest and most active breeding colony. They have teams of dedicated keepers who monitor polar bears' behavior and provide them with training and enrichment. They have about 60 different species, from penguins to rodents and snakes. The Maryland Zoo offers half-price admission to the members in spring and winter. Discounts are available on tickets via the U.S. military ticket system for active-duty and disabled service members. Visitors can view polar bears on one side and grizzly bears on the other. Free admission for children under 2.
