The Aquarium is a non-profit zoo and Aquarium where visitors can observe endangered animals such as sea turtles, eagles, sharks, owls, snakes, falcons, and lizards. The refuge also offers 1.5 miles of walking trails for tourists to explore. Living Coast Discovery Center covers 316 acres of Sweetwater Marsh National Wildlife Refuge in Southern California. The center is a popular destination for school field trips, with over 29,000 students visiting on one date.
