Wow!!!! What a great little Center. Took my 18 month old here this week and boy did he have a blast. So many neat animals to look at. Sea Turtles and Sharks were a hit. Biggest selection of large predator birds all in one place. The barn owl was out for show and was truly fascinating to see up close and personal. Two other favorites were the desert tortoise and the road runner!!! So much fun and great for the littles to learn about wildlife.

I personally loved this venue because it is outdoors. If you are an avid concert goer or just make it to a show once in a while, you may know that the sound quality can differ from venue to venue. My local venue is quite horrible, it is indoors and the architecture does not do well with the sound and it can basically sound very muffled...okay enough about that My point is that the sound is incredible at this venue.

I loved this museum. What a great place to spend a short afternoon or morning learning about local history and seeing some art as well. If you want to learn about the area come here, you can peruse the museum while your child does some arts and crafts. It kind of made me a little sad to see all the agriculture that used to be here but is no longer. The staff at the museum is wonderful, especially Julie the director.
