This the perfect place to come for a nice walk the view is awesome on clear days you can see the Coronado Bay Bridge, Downtown SD and part of the Coronado Silver Strand. The park has a two small parking lots you can access from Bayside Parkway using the roundabout. The lots are always full but there is a lot of street parking, I have never had trouble fining parking. There is street parking on Sandpiper Way, Bayside Parkway, G Street, and Quay Avenue.

1475 Lake Crest Dr, Chula Vista, CA 91915

Since 2006

Amphitheater, Barbecue Grill, Basketball Court, Open Green Space, Picnic Area, Play Equipment, Recycling Bin, Shelter, Soccer Field & Walking Trail

Available water spouting play area for kids - 12 Acres Park

This park is a perfect setting for family picnics, workouts, or just to get outside. The lake located right across from here expands the various things to do while here. There is a basketball court, a playground, and a jogging/walking trail located on the premises. Its very well maintained. There are also bbq grills, gazebos with tables, and plentiful parking on the street or on the lot in the park. For the South Bay area, I'd say this is easily the nicest park.

This park is beautiful! It has an amazing view and the park itself is so well maintained. There were so many people here when I visited on Sunday 5/14. Some were playing softball and soccer on the field, walking around the park, taking advantage of the playground, and there was still enough room for 2 different parties and a bounce house to enjoy all the space and not bother each other. Also, there is so much space for parking! It has a large lot plus street parking available.
