“Toyota Pavilion at Concord is owned by the City of Concord and operated by Live Nation. The Pavilion has a capacity of 12,500 people and was opened in 1975 as the Concord Pavilion. The pavilion was designed by architect Frank Gehry and landscape architect Peter Walker. Many live performances for weddings, events, and private parties are held in the Concord Pavilion. The pavilion specializes in hosting events for beginners of all ages and offers training through pre-professional levels. Toyota Pavilion at Concord offers the best nights on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; street parking, private lot parking, and outdoor seating are also available. The modest-sized stage is in a covered pavilion open on several sides to the hillside and nature. Lawn seating covers the hillside, and there are a few food and drink areas to help reduce waits.”
