“Newhall Community Park has a protected paw patch area and a fenced area where dogs can exercise off-leash. There is one reserved group picnic area in a separate creek-side setting with giant oak trees. A Vietnam War Memorial graces Vista Point, which is also there. The park has amenities like bocce courts, picnic areas, a play structure, ponds along the creek, and turfed athletic fields. Newhall Community Park has more than enough parking space and is located in a good neighborhood. A reservation option is available. Newhall Community Park is 126 acres of land located along Galindo Creek, to the east of Treat Boulevard.”

The park has 26 acres of parkland and provides a softball diamond, model airplane flying area, and soccer fields. There are numerous picnic areas, including one reservable group picnic and BBQ site. The park has a unique playground area, picnic area, and recreation area for kids, and it is a lovely place for the whole family. Hillcrest Community Park is suitable for birthday parties and various special events. The park has multiple soccer games on the fields, a quaint duck pond, and a lovely trail through Redwoods. Moreover, the park has a playground for children of all abilities. Visit the park and enjoy the park's amenities with your family.”

A really beautiful little park. Has the occasional homeless person in it, but they keep to themselves. Has a nice new fountain and sitting area. Grab a coffee or bite to eat and sit here to people watch.

NEWHALL COMMUNITY PARK REVIEWS

I absolutely love this park, beautiful views, lots of animals, sweet people walking their dogs & soccer games always going on I love to walk/hike here, although I will say please be aware of the coyotes! There is plenty parking, bathrooms, many benches throughout the park, many trails and a dog park/area. Usually busier around noon but never too bad for no parking! I would absolutely recommend this gem!

Newhall Park has a little bit of everything. I especially love the playground as it has 2 play structures, one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids, and it's fenced in. There are 2 soccer fields, restrooms, bocci ball courts, a pond, a creek, and lots of walking trails. It is the perfect place to get some exercise and tire out the little ones. There are picnic tables, trees for shade, and friendly geese (friendly in the sense that they didn't attack my toddler who chased them). All in all, it's a big and clean park and one of our favorites.

After lot of training we got a sunny day on this amazing park. My son was driving a speed control car. This place is perfect for that. Lot of space and different grounds. And my little one enjoy chasing ducks... there are lots of them.

HILLCREST COMMUNITY PARK REVIEWS

Fantastic park! It features one of the worlds only playgrounds designed for use by all kids including the disabled, (wheelchairs, the blind, deaf etc.) The playground is only a few years old and is very modern. There is an official model airplane airport on the opposite side that gets moderate use. The park is massive! There is space for multiple soccer games on the field, there are two baseball diamonds, a sweet duck pond, and a nice trail through some Redwoods. Overall, very nice park but there is a homeless issue and I would not recommend going at night.

Such a cute park for kids of all ages, I love that they have a designated area for smaller kids so safety is no problem. This park offers accessibility for all too with larger swings and plenty of areas for climbing, playing house and running about. My daughter especially loves the water misters during the warm months.

Best disc golf in Concord! From open field to a tight redwood grove, this park has a little bit of everything to offer. A great group keeps this course in really nice shape, they recently got new baskets in the last couple months.
