ANDERSON JAPANESE GARDENS REVIEWS

Beautiful Japanese garden with plenty of walking trails. We enjoyed a solid hour of wandering the gardens enjoying the plantings. Since it was relatively early in the spring, there were lots of things just starting to flower. The map and guide provided detail where some of the featured plantings that will be coming into bloom are located. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch! We will be planning return trips to see the gardens during different seasons.

I had been wanting to visit for the longest time and finally got the chance. I could write about it, but the pictures speak louder than anything I could say. What is not in the pictures is the welcoming reception we got from the shop attendants, the smells coming from the restaurant and the peace we felt walking through the gardens. We will definitely visit again.

Stunning garden—beautiful, tranquil, and effortlessly serene. Its quiet charm and lush, picturesque scenery made for the perfect space for relaxation. A peaceful escape worth experiencing.

DISCOVERY CENTER MUSEUM REVIEWS

First time going today. Myself and nephew went. $12 a person. Lots and lots to explore! Love the hands on experience. The open floor rooms. It was pretty busy but still had areas where me and my nephew could play and be alone not feeling rushed out of one thing and Into the next. The outdoor playground is cool. Feel it’s a little more big kid related. There are sand zones and rock/construction area that he played in . We spent about 2 hours here. So I definitely feel it was worth the price and had lots of fun! The kid was happy and sure enjoy the nap after! Thanks Rockford discovery center !!.

Very cool interactive place of discovery for the little ones! There were so many different areas for the kids to explore. I love anything than can incorporate having fun while learning! Plenty parking, easy to get to, fair pricing for tickets. Definetely recommend.

Absolutely awesome place. My toddler loved it. So much so he nearly passed out on the floor. There were a couple of things not working, but there's so much to do that it's easy to ignore. It'll be even more fun when he's older.

NICHOLAS CONSERVATORY & GARDENS REVIEWS

Lots of fun events held here throughout the year, beautiful conservatory garden and exterior garden path you can walk around. There normally isn't a long wait unless it's during the butterfly exhibit, that I do recommend buying tickets for in advance. During the summer they have food truck nights which have a lot of local food trucks show up you can get food from - definitely recommend, a lot of good food to choose from.

This place was amazing! I took my three boys here to learn about the life cycle of butterflies. They were hesitant but brave and curious. We came today on a Tuesday so it was 5 dollars per person. You have to register and set a time and buy your tickets in advance. But it was super easy. Id like to share some of our videos and pictures.

Nice conservatory. It is not very large and the main attraction is the butterfly room. We came in early April so the outdoors areas were not in bloom yet. I would recommend coming later in year when outdoor plants are in bloom. We enjoyed our visit and had a blast in the butterfly room.
