The garden is dedicated to providing world-class programs, events, and opportunities that bring people together in a positive environment. Anderson Gardens is a place of peace for the visitors, where you can discover healing, renewal, inspiration, and a re-energized soul. Some paved and gravel paths are very accessible here. Anderson Gardens has lovely ponds, a waterfall, tea houses with lots of animals. Anderson Gardens affords free admission for children age under five.

Discovery Center Museum is an award-winning children's science museum. It has more than 250 interactive exhibits and a fantastic outdoor park. Its hands-on exhibits encourage children of all ages to play, explore, create and discover the joy of learning. Discovery Center Museum creates chances for happy learning and discovery in the sciences and arts through hands-on experiences. The museum holds exhibits related to math, color, light, Midwest wild weather, agriculture, communication, health, sports, and the human body. Discovery Center Museum offers free admission for members, children age one and under.

Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens is nestled along the banks of the beautiful Rock River. It is the third-largest conservatory in Illinois. It has 11,000 sq. ft. of indoor tropical flora, sculpture, and a landscaped lagoon with fountains and patios. The garden has orchids that offer lots of colors, and it also has multiple types of palms, making the room feel tropical. In addition, the garden features a great outdoor space in the warmer months filled with beautiful seasonal flowersNicholas Conservatory & Garden is a beautiful place to visit with friends and family and explore the inside glass dome with different tropical plants.
