SAN DIEGO ZOO REVIEWS
We loved our trip to the zoo and would heartily recommend it to anyone. In fact, we have to put it as the number 1 attraction in San Diego. It really is something not to miss when you are in the city. We took the guided bus tour first and it was a good way to see the whole area before the walk around the zoo. There are restaurants in the zoo and the food was great. Would recommend wearing comfortable shoes since it's a big area you'll be walking. Take a stroller if you go with children or you can rent one in the park which costs you $16.
This has been my favourite zoo for many years. Well kept and lots to see. It’s a fun day for the whole family. And you can bring your own food which is extra nice as you can have a lunch and keep on going. Lots walking so wear comfy shoes. We spent a good 6 hours.
Impressive zoo! Definitely one of the best zoos I have been to. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is lotsa ground to cover, and beautiful animals to look at. No doubt it was tiring to walk hours and hours. But it was worth it. Grabbed a map on the way in at the entrance so that I won’t get lost. The zoo is huge! Overall it was a great experience!

USS MIDWAY MUSEUM REVIEWS
This place is amazing! I got to see the maritime! This is very interesting and educational for everything that it offers to learn more about what happened. I found that the simulating rides were pretty amazing. And I love that the volunteers are most of them are veterans. Highly recommend this for everybody stopping by the harbor and enjoying learning about our history. Thank you for giving me an experience of a lifetime!
Simply put, this was a really great experience! You get several tours of the ship from briefing rooms to living quarters to the sick bay. It pretty much has it all and plenty to read as you walk the grounds. On top, there's a collection of several types of aircraft. Take your time, do the walk through and I think you'll really enjoy it. Bonus, there's paid parking right next door. Park here, see Midway and walk around the city. Especially Seaport Village.
What an amazing place. We spend about 5 hours touring the ship and had a great time. We even had a late lunch while there. Was a bit expensive, but was still good. We enjoyed seeing all the different places on the ship. There were even a few places where the staff or maybe volunteers explained how things worked. We really enjoyed listening to them and the different stories they had. I would highly recommend visiting this amazing museum. You won't be disappointed.

BIRCH AQUARIUM REVIEWS
I'm excited for them to open the penguin exhibit. But we went today and it was beautiful! Great place to stay cool during the summer. The kids got to touch starfish and sea cucumbers in the tide pool area. The aquarium isn't gigantic but still great to see everything. Their jellyfish and seahorse exhibits are beautiful!
I have fond memories of this place as a kid. My sister was a docent at the petting tide pool while she was in college. The sea cucumbers are my favorite. They have the jelly tumbler and an awesome seahorse tank. Lots of fun stuff to look at. My kiddo had a great time at this most recent visit and there was something for the whole family (the penguins are California burrito sized). It's small but really gorgeous location.
This is a fun place to spend time with the family. The aquarium has a wide variety of well maintained exhibits. The tide pools on the outside allow you to interact with local sea creatures. The view from the outside is breath taking as you can see the ocean. You have to reserve your tickets, so be sure to purchase them beforehand.
