"Nobel Athletic Fields and Recreation Center is a recreational hub offering diverse activities suitable for individuals of all ages. The expansive 31-acre site also houses the North University Branch Library. Visitors can access a 10,200 sq. ft. gymnasium/recreation center for rental for community meetings, a fitness room, and a 16,100 sq. ft. branch library. The sprawling site boasts various amenities, including three playgrounds for children, softball and soccer fields, a gym, and a dog park. They provide a wide range of recreational facilities and programs for both children and adults, encompassing workshops, classes, monthly live music-themed dances, and needlecrafts in the senior lounge.

2026 Update: They have 30 acres of municipal park with children’s play areas, an off-leash dog park, and two softball fields."

They house two large radio towers owned by the Marietta Broadcasting Company. The land was later leased to the city after the towers were relocated. The recreation center caters to diverse interests by offering an array of amenities, including a gymnasium, outdoor basketball courts, illuminated softball fields, picnic tables, a children's play area, an auditorium, a swimming pool, and a community building with rentable rooms. The recreation center's complimentary parking is available on-site for visitors.
