BALBOA PARK REVIEWS
Beautiful park with some free activities available. Most museums, gardens, and activities require an admission fee. Visited some of the museums and was rather disappointed in them for the fees charged. Traffic was VERY busy as the day progressed. Highly recommend visiting early in the day if you want a place to park.
This is treasured gem here in San Diego. You'll need to go multiple times in order to experience everything. The good news is that you'll want to return over and over once you've been here. Check out all the gardens. They are dreamy.
The best . Lots to do , lots of fun museums. The San diego zoo , Botanical garden, the pond area, trails ,freebie- golf on other side of balboa park oh even archery to shoot your bow and arrows.

MISSION BAY PARK REVIEWS
It's one of the more beautiful places I'm San Diego. I prefer it to the beach. Plenty of green grass for activities. Or a fire pit for a bon fire. Nice breeze and right next to the highway. Rent boats or go kayaking. There's a nice walkway that starts by De Anza cove that goes all the way to Seaword and beyond.
Such a great place to walk, swim, and has a fabulous playground for children of all ages. Bathrooms and recreation areas are kept clean. Overall awesome place for fitness and leisure.
It was nice out there, I really enjoyed my day out on the boat. It's very nice tourist attraction they offer whale watching, paddle pub boat. There are some pretty good food places down there too.

WATERFRONT PARK REVIEWS
This place is amazing nice weather, awesome views and tons to do whether your looking for a place to eat or maybe go to a bar. They even had a arts and crafts market for up and coming artists. Had a great time and would definitely like to come back again and will tell anyone coming to San Diego to check it out.
Just pay for parking. Very nice, clean area for kids to play for hours. Right across from the bay with huge ships/boats and the city skyscrapers so it has amazing views 360 and very relaxing. Nice grassy area if you want to picnic. No tables or benches on grass though. Has an awesome playground for all ages. So much cool stuff on the playground area. Don't forget to bring extra clothes for the kids, towel and sunscreen.
This is such a cute but unique park. Not your typical playground but still fun activities for the kids to explore & advance their skills. Bathrooms are decent & even have a small water area to play in!
