Intel Museum covers 10,000 square feet of fun, interactive learning for children and adults. The museum exhibits Intel's products, history, and general semiconductor technology. The museum's staff engages students and youth groups as they examine the complex world of silicon technology to know how Intel is changing the way they live, work and play. Students can learn about Intel microprocessor history, chip fabrication, and silicon chip design. Interactive displays encourage pupils to explore concepts in a fun and educational manner. Guided group tours are given daily by reservation. Self-paced visits are regularly welcome. Field trip programs last 2 hours and are tailored for specific grade levels, including hands-on classes in the Learning Lab. They offer free field trips for grades 2-12.

The South Bay Historical Railroad Society aims to protect the region's railroad heritage while operating a working museum to serve the community. The museum features three major areas, including historic buildings, railroad artifacts, and operational scale model displays. The museum also has an extensive library of railroad-related books and videos. The museum's members are volunteers who work on the Santa Clara Tower, the Santa Clara Railroad Depot, and the two maintenance-of-way buildings. The South Bay Historical Railroad Society's vast and diverse collection of historic railroad artifacts is on display in the Edward Peterman Museum of Railroad History, located in the depot. In addition to public donations, member contributions, and fundraising events, these resources make it possible for the museum to maintain the facility, provide displays for the museum, and purchase books for the library. The station features two operational HO and N scale model railroad layout displays depicting various railroad eras and operational venues.
