Good Park Destination in Santa Clara. Big enough for walkingA Must Go park, with everything you might want. The highlight is the arbor in the back - a beautiful cool place to sit and admire the vines and the California blue sky. There is a unique kids play area made of stone and wooden logs, with a swing and slide. Loads of green grass, but with many shady areas with long trees. On the other side there is another small kids area with sand. There are many bbq areas, but currently closed due to covid. Inside the park there is also a water feature. The kids might still like seeing the ducks and. around, children play area, many seating place around and near to fountain.

TOP 3 HENRY SCHMIDT PARK REVIEWS
This place has a nice open space. There is a breeze here which is nice. Public restrooms that are clean. The park itself is clean, peaceful and kid friendly. I didnt see a lot of places at the park that were shady. If you take your kids/toddlers, make on a hot day, make sure they wear long sleeve clothing. You dont know how hot the play structure can be when the sun is beating down on it. Located near stores and gas stations. Quiet neighborhood as well.
This park has great facilities. Lots of picnic areas with barbecue pits. It also has a great train play area for kids. It also has bathrooms. and it has a nice long dirt trail around the perimeter of the park. It has tennis courts and basketball courts too. And even has a fitness obstacle course. It's a great place to spend the Sunday afternoon with the family. We've held several birthday parties there too.
Good park in the neighborhood with walking path, kids playground, tennis and basketball courts, picnic tables. Surrounded by apartments and houses.
