HENRY SCHMIDT PARK REVIEWS
4 tennis courts but no lights for two and minimal lights for two. Lots of play area. Restrooms are available. People get their dogs, have been noticing 3-4 dogs at least in the evenings. Parking might be a bit tight since there is an apartment complex right next to the park.
This place has a nice open space. There is a breeze here which is nice. Public restrooms that are clean. The park itself is clean, peaceful and kid friendly. I didnt see a lot of places at the park that were shady. If you take your kids/toddlers, make on a hot day, make sure they wear long sleeve clothing. You dont know how hot the play structure can be when the sun is beating down on it. Located near stores and gas stations. Quiet neighborhood as well.
Very nice park. The day I was there it was windy, and sunny, the trees provided nice shade. It was not crowded so I enjoyed it.

Thamien Park holds a distinguished and illustrious reputation as the City's thirty-first municipal park. Its name pays homage to the historic site of Mission Santa Clara (Mission Santa Clara de Thamien), which was originally established in the vicinity. The Native Americans who resided in this area over 250 years ago referred to it as Thamien. Presently, the fifth site of Mission Santa Clara de Asis stands on the grounds of Santa Clara University. The park itself spans 3.5 acres and is situated between Lick Mill Boulevard and the Guadalupe Creek Trail. It boasts a variety of amenities, including two playgrounds, two half basketball courts, a tennis court, restrooms, turf areas, picnic spots, and a spacious parking lot, all interconnected by pathways. Moreover, visitors can make use of the park's BBQ facility for enjoyable gatherings.

THAMIEN PARK REVIEWS
I didn't know small neighborhood playgrounds warranted a review, but, yeah, sure, it's a great place to park while waiting for my kid to come out of the gated community where his friend lives.
My daughter's goto park for playing. Easily accessible for mansion Grove and river view apartments. Finding parking spot maybe really tricky at times
what a beautiful park this is. The bloom on the trees makes it so colorful. The right photo opportunities here right now...amazing walking trek right next to it....
