SHREVEPORT AQUARIUM REVIEWS
What an absolutely incredible experience. I cannot recommend you visit the Shreveport Aquarium enough. It was decked out in Christmas fashion - every exhibit has a fun Christmas spin, including a delightful magic wand experience that engages the environment in various ways, from well-done video messages, light and sound displays, even the control of water works. The staff was courteous and well-informed. The various sea critters seemed to be well-cared for and loved by their handlers. The variety of critters was also impressive - I never expected to find such a beautiful array of sharks and eels and rays! The stingrays are really a highlight, as they are so incredibly friendly and excited to be seen and even touched!
This is such a quaint aquarium! The people were kind, friendly, and excited to share their knowledge. It is a relatively new aquarium, so constantly growing and improving. Whenever my family returns to Shreveport, we'll be revisiting here for sure!
This places was beautiful. They are taking great precautions in this time and thats good. The staff was full of information on the different animals they had and they were very helpful. Definitely want to come back.

SCI-PORT DISCOVERY CENTER REVIEWS
The adults and children alike really enjoyed the IMAX movie. Loved that most all of the learning stations were interactive...there were stations building the human skeleton, stations teaching making a paper airplane and then a launcher to see how far your plane would fly, a pitching cage to measure how fast you can pitch a ball, many stations teaching the solar system, live animals ..flop-eared bunny...a very large king snake...and many, many more interesting things! So much fun for everybody! I would definitely take my family back. There are so many activities and play areas for the kids. Multiple learning stations that teach kids about different things they could experience.
Greg at the planetarium is literally the most awesome dude ever. We traveled from Dallas and decided to stop by and he exceeded our expectations to the max. We learned so many cool things and I highly recommend everyone to stop by and meet Greg!! Seriously had a blast.
Great place for the kids. We love seeing the Imax movie and the little ones loved the POP area upstairs.

R.W. NORTON ART GALLERY REVIEWS
This gallery changed my outlook on Shreveport as a whole. A hidden gem, indeed. Beautiful collection & I only had a chance to see the American collection. The sculptures were wonderful. Gardens were beautiful even though many flowering plants not in bloom. Japanese Maple collection is extensive. Friendly staff! I would have liked to see more local African American art & what they did have, would have liked to see in more prominent displays. I'm sure Shreveport has a richer African American history that could be told. But, maybe that is not the goal of this particular gallery.
Amazing collection! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back to see more!
One of the most beautiful places you'll visit if you like flowers and beautiful scenery and beautiful walks
