Dr. Gary Driver completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Oklahoma (OU). He earned his medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFU) in North Chicago, Illinois. He is a triple board-certified foot and ankle surgeon. He is one of a few fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeons in DFW. His residency training took place in Denver, Colorado, where in his final year of residency he served as Chief resident at a level 1 trauma center. He then went on to spend a year in Roanoke, Virginia, at one of the nation's top fellowship programs, where he completed a highly competitive fellowship in complex foot and ankle surgery. He has represented local high school sports teams. Throughout his training, Dr. Driver became proficient in total ankle replacement, foot and ankle reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, bunion correction, Charcot deformity, and foot and ankle trauma. He also learned advanced methods of ankle arthroscopy, lateral ankle stabilization, sports medicine and injuries, deformity correction, flatfoot reconstruction, tendon ruptures and repairs, and complex foot and ankle reconstruction. He stays up to date with the most current surgical techniques and literature and participates in presenting lectures and teaching residents and upcoming physicians. He is practicing at the Texas Health Care. Bone & Joint Clinic, which is the longest-standing orthopedic practice in Fort Worth.
