“Dr. Alberto Rodriguez earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in 1980. He has over 44 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Rodriguez has been an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine since 1984 and has been a Senior Attending Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center Department of Medicine since 1985. Additionally, he served as an Assistant Professor of the Yale University Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 1991 and 1992. Dr. Rodriguez has been actively involved in professional organizations, having served in various capacities at the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians from 1991 to 2001, including Director, Board Member, Secretary, President Elect, President, Immediate Past President, and Past President at Large. He also contributed to the Executive and Editorial Board of the Core Content Review of Family Medicine from 1995 to 2000. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Rodriguez completed residencies at Hahnemann University Hospital (Family Medicine) and Virtua West Jersey Hospital Voorhees (Family Medicine). He currently holds the position of Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
