This was my first time meeting Dr. Halverson, she was very caring and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and provided me the necessary information to ensure my wellbeing.

I first came to know of Dr. Heilizer via the internet looking for a proctologist to treat my hemorrhoid issues. My appointment was added at the tail end of his schedule. However, he 15+ years of experience got me a quick surgery date and a 5 minute meeting with detailed conversation and examination. I was skeptical at first because of how quick the appointment went and wasn’t going to consider his expertise until I left and thought about how matter of fact he was in that short time. From the time I met him in his office until the time he scheduled my surgery and gave me instructions on pre examination needs to the procedure date and now recovery. Dr. Heilizer didn’t disappoint at all. This man is excellent at what he does and very professional. I am so in awe how he uses human interaction and his medical clinical experience to create a safe, supportive and effective environment for treatment without dragging things along, straight to the point and impromptu information and never wavering on what needs to be done and how it will help or hurt patients. I wrote this review because I couldn’t stop thinking about the process in which he cared for me and how I never encountered this type of care before. It’s true you don’t know what to expect if you’ve never had it or don’t know what to look for. Now I know. Thank you so much Dr. Heilizer you are the best and I’m grateful you took me on as one of your patients. The absolute best people. Amazing!!!!!!!! Twenty stars.

Dr. HEILIZER and his staff are the best (team) thing that ever happened to me and my colon. I will forever be greatful. Sincerely. He get down to the matter of what is ailing your colon and he will fix you. He will explain in layman's term and even draw pictures to help you envision the issue to help you better understand the solution. My insurance has changed but I'm going to try to see if I can still follow up with him. It's been 3 years and I'm a changed person compared to pre-op years. Bless him
