He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center. D. Kyle Hogarth specializes in Bronchoscopy, Bronchial Thermoplasty, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). He is also an expert in the minimally invasive diagnosis, management, staging, and treatment of lung cancer through bronchoscopy. He was the first physician in Illinois to perform Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (bLVR) for severe emphysema using both the Zephyr valve and the Spiration valve. D.
